Do you need travel insurance for Tenerife?
On 25th October 2020, the FCDO released an update to make the Canary Islands exempt from the advice against all non-essential international travel.
Tenerife travel insurance covers you to travel to Tenerife. This type of insurance covers you for medical emergencies, which is vital to prevent unexpected medical bills and give you the support you need if you have any medical problems while you’re away.
Tenerife, known as ‘Isla de la Eterna Primavera‘ (‘Island of Eternal Spring’) is a popular destination for Britons. With plenty of sunshine and wonderful wines, it’s no surprise that so many travel to the island every year.
So, whether you’re venturing to Tenerife to whale watch or enjoy a hike through the Masca Valley, you’ll want the correct level of protection in place for peace of mind.
To make sure you make the most of your trip, take out comprehensive travel insurance.
