If you’re on a waiting list for medical treatment which could cause you to cancel or curtail your journey, we will not cover cancellation or curtailment costs caused by the medical conditions concerned, unless you have paid the required additional premium for Waiting List cover.
Waiting List cover is available to add as an Optional Extra, though only on a single trip basis from AllClear Gold and Gold Plus policies.
You are able to add Optional Extras during the quote process, after you have selected your policy.
Please be aware that for some insurance providers being on a waiting list affects your eligibility to receive a quote. So be sure to indicate that you’re on a waiting list during the initial medical warranty questions. Doing so will make sure you are only shown policies which can cover you.
