Will your GHIC cover you?

Your GHIC does not cover you for all eventualities when you are on holiday – such as repatriation back to the UK. It’s important to also have comprehensive Travel Insurance when travelling to Malta.

What about current travel restrictions to Malta?

If the advice from the FCDO is against all but essential travel to your Malta, cover cannot be provided. It’s important that you check for the latest advice before travelling.

From the 17th of May, we are hopeful that Malta will be on the green list and you will be able to travel there.
