Cardiff office is fourth UK site for the company

AllClear Group, one of the UK’s fastest growing travel companies, has opened a new site in Cardiff.

AllClear is the market-leading provider of specialist Travel Insurance for people with medical conditions. For more than 20 years, AllClear has helped cover more than three million policyholders, with customers across the UK, Ireland and Australia. The business has won many industry awards, with 5 Star Defaqto-rated products and best-in-class service. Last year, AllClear Group acquired InsureandGo from the global insurance company MAPFRE Asistencia. The deal more than doubled the size of AllClear Group as a leading force in the UK travel insurance market and bolstered an already strong proposition that is based on quality, trust, and expertise.

Despite recent disruption at airports, the international travel market is re-opening after two years of pandemic restrictions and AllClear Group has robust plans in place to grow the AllClear and InsureandGo businesses in 2022 and beyond. The new premises in Cardiff will help the business to build on its proven skills in delivering market-leading customer service and technology innovation.

“Another bold step for one of the fastest growing travel companies in the UK.”

The move to Cardiff has been supported by Cardiff Council, whose team has played a key role in helping AllClear to find office space to make connections with local suppliers and partners.

Cardiff Council’s Cabinet Member for Investment and Development Cllr. Russell Goodway commented: “We are delighted to see AllClear invest in Cardiff, they are part of a growing financial and professional services cluster here in the capital city and we very much hope that they will continue to grow and create many new jobs.”

Chris Rolland, CEO at AllClear Group said: “Despite a very challenging COVID era for the travel industry, the AllClear Group is ready for the return of travel and helping more customers than ever before.  Our new Cardiff office will be the fourth site for AllClear Group’s UK Operations and marks another bold step for one of the fastest growing travel companies in the UK.”

“We chose Cardiff for our new office because the city has a proud track record of supporting businesses and fostering a positive culture of innovation and enterprise. I would like to thank the Cardiff Council team who have been a partner in the true sense of the word. They have worked really hard to help our transition to the city and to make connections with a number of key suppliers. As a business, we aim to reciprocate by investing in the economic health of the city – as a hub for business innovation – and we are delighted to create employment opportunities in and around the city.”
