Buying your policy

How do you find the right policy?

We aim to provide you with a choice of products that to suit your needs. We will ask questions about you, your medical condition and your planned trip in order to display policies that match your requirements. We will then only show you quotes from those providers who are able to offer you cover.

All you then need to do is decide which policy is right for you.

Get a quote and compare providers.

Are my details secure if I purchase online?

Yes. All of your details are encrypted for maximum security.

Your card details are not stored on our system.

We only hold details in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

What should you do if you’re having trouble paying online?

  • Double check all personal and payment details

  • Check you have selected the correct card type

  • Check your payment card number is correct

  • Make sure there are no spaces in your card number

  • Check your start and expiry dates

  • Make sure the security code is correct (the last 3 digits on the back of your card)

  • If you have used a Switch, Maestro or Solo card, make sure you have entered an issue number

How do you buy your policy if you wish to proceed?

You will need to retrieve your quote within 7 days and select ‘Buy now’.

Your quote information will be re-confirmed and once you have chosen your provider, you’ll be prompted to enter your payment details.
We accept most major credit/debit cards. You can also pay via PayPal.

What is the cooling off period?

The cooling off period allows you 14 days from date of purchase to ensure the cover you have chosen accurately reflects your needs. If you decide that it does not, you can cancel the policy with a full refund – providing you have not travelled or made/intend to make any claims against the policy.

Why are you returned to the start of the quote after selecting ‘Purchase’?

This event happens after you have saved a quote and returned to it. To make sure all of your previously entered information is correct, once you have selected ‘Purchase’ you are brought to the start of the quote again. If all of the details displayed are correct, please simply click ‘continue’ on each section until you are brought to the final payment section.
